About the Author
VIJAY KRANTI: A senior journalist photographer and Tibetologist. He is a reputed observer and analyst of Tibetan situation since 1972. His 40-yr long photographic study of Tibet is acclaimed for its aesthetic and documentation value. Vijay has presented over a dozen solo photo-exhibitions on Tibet in India and many other countries. He has 11 books to his credit as author photographer editor and co-author. These books include a coffee table book "DALAI LAMA - The Noble Laureate - SPEAKS" and the Hindi edition of His autobiography "Freedom In Exile".
Vijay Kranti has been on the staff of reputed media organizations like India Today BBC TV Radio Voice of America German Radio (Deutsche Welle) Aaj Tak TV Zee News TV etc. Currently he is the Chairman of NUJ(I) School of Journalism and Communication N. Delhi .

SODHON:

Born in Lhasa Tibet. He is one of the main pioneers of Tibetan contemporary art movement in India. As a reputed illustrator he has to his credit over 50 illustrated books including many comic books and over a thousand art illustrations in reputed magazines like Tibet Times.

He has been a studio art instructor and lecturer at the Sarah College near Dharamsala (India) for six years. His work has been exhibited in India and other countries. Some prominent shows include Tibet Museum (India) Colorado University Museum (U.S.A) Palazzo Nerucci in Castel de Piano (Italy) and Rubin Museum of Art (U.S.A).
